A special thank you to the Truman Heartland Community Foundation for awarding Downtown Alive! a grant to help fund our public art project. We received November 14, 2014 at the THCF Luncheon.
The Awards Program reads:
“A partnership of the Blue Springs Public Arts Commission, the Blue Springs Historical Society, the City of Blue Springs, downtown businesses and other organizations interested in the preservation of the history and culture of the Main Street area is awarded funding for commissioned artwork that will utilize the aluminum and steel media from old buildings and structures in downtown Blue Springs.”
We look forward to the results of our Call to Artists!
