The 43rd annual Blue Springs “Shortest and Smallest” St. Patrick’s Day Parade in the world will be held on Main Street in downtown Blue Springs at 9 a.m. Tuesday March 17th. The parade route begins at 1112 W. Main and goes across the street to 1123 W. Main. It measures 66 feet and lasts about 30 seconds.
The 2020 Honorary Grand Marshall will be named at a later date. The annual official parade participants are: Pat Meyer and Jim Wallace, one of which will be carrying the traditional parade ‘ice cream’ float. Dr. Bill Whitley, the 3rd of the traditional ‘three’ annual parade participants for nearly all of the past 43 years passed away a last year.  Come early and stay late for pre & post parade specials from area beverage and food establishments.
